Two new Executive Packages have been launched by The Montagu Arms Hotel in Beaulieu for those who want a successful board meeting with a luxurious twist.
Far from a grey corporate conference venue, this charming country house hotel is a breath of fresh air – clear, crisp, New Forest air!
All the essential elements of a successful conference are in place. The use of a meeting room is included in both the residential and day packages, as is unlimited tea, coffee, water and cordials, home-made break treats, complimentary wi-fi, an LCD projector and screen, a flipchart and stationery.
But the packages offer so much more than the essential.
Your meeting starts with a drive through the stunning New Forest National Park to the picturesque village of Beaulieu, with its world-famous motor museum and winding riverside walk to the historic shipbuilding village of Buckler’s Hard.
When executive delegates arrive at The Montagu Arms, their cars will be valet-parked.
Day guests will be welcomed with warm Pondhead Farm bacon rolls and freshly-squeezed orange juice before their conference, and will break for a three-course lunch in the 3AA-Rosette Terrace Restaurant. The Terrace is run by Matthew Tomkinson, one of only 34 Roux Scholars in the world, who sources seasonal, free-range ingredients from carefully-selected local suppliers and his own kitchen garden.
Diners can choose from a selection of delicious dishes, which might include ragout of Shetland cod with autumn vegetables, white beans, hazelnuts and mushrooms, or honey roast breast of free range duck with a tarte fine of caramelised endive, celeriac puree and lightly peppered sauce.
Residential delegates will stay in a luxurious double room, and enjoy a pre-dinner glass of Taittinger Champagne and canapés.
Then it’s in to the stunning Terrace restaurant to savour a five-course tasting menu, where each course will be accompanied by a sommelier-selected wine flight.
Guests can also enjoy some well-earned relaxation time at the award-winning SenSpa, at the Montagu Arms’ sister hotel, Careys Manor. The luxury Thai spa offers the ultimate relaxation experience through its combination of world-class hydrotherapy suite, authentic Thai treatments, state-of-the-art fitness facilities and warm, friendly service.
The residential package also includes a hearty New Forest breakfast, and a two-course hot and cold buffet or working lunch.
Whether staying for a day or overnight, opting for an Executive Package is the perfect way to combine business with pleasure. The 24-hour Residential Executive Package starts at £250 per person plus VAT, and the day meeting is from £70 per person, plus VAT. Both packages are for a minimum of eight people. Conference rates are valid from Sunday to Thursday inclusive, although rates for meetings over a weekend are available.
