    The Honeypot Children's Charity praises Colten Care's Woodpeckers home for their support


    Betty Hampton, left, a resident at Colten Care's Woodpeckers home in Brockenhurst, New Forest, with items she knitted in aid of the Honeypot Children's Charity. Joining her is Viv Carter, Honeypot’s Regional Community Fundraising Officer, and mascot Bumble. Woodpeckers nursing home in the New Forest has experienced a buzz of activity as residents raised hundreds of pounds to help young carers.

    The Honeypot Children’s Charity praised Colten Care’s home in Brockenhurst for making and selling craft items to support its work. Betty Hampton, who knitted a host of bee-inspired woollen gifts including glove and finger puppets, was among residents receiving a thank-you visit from Honeypot representatives including mascot Bumble.

    The President of the UK Bartender’s Guild, Luca Cordiglieri, Kris Insatorn and Salvatore Damiano, Chairman of the southern UK Bartender’s Guild. A talented young bartender at the luxury Careys Manor Hotel in the New Forest has reached the finals of an international cocktail competition.

    Kris Insatorn, 18, who is also a student at Brockenhurst College, won the student bartender category in the national heat of the Calvados Nouvelle Vogue International Trophies, and went on to compete against 60 other bartenders and students from 14 countries at the finals in Caen.
