Venue: Vinegar Hill Pottery, Milford on Sea SO41 0RZ | City: Milford on Sea
One day pottery course on the potters wheel including homemade cake, tea and coffee at elevenses, and a hearty two-course home cooked lunch.
This is the perfect pottery course for people who have always wanted to try their hand at making pots on the potter's wheel.
There are only seven places per pottery class meaning Dave has time to tutor each individual. It doesn't matter how much potting experience you have - total beginner or happy hobby potter by the end of the day you will have made all sorts of pots, and we hope you will have got the hang of throwing a pot on the wheel.
Pottery tuition begins at 9 (after a hearty breakfast for residential potters) and we tend to work until 1 pm when we stop for a delicious homemade two-course lunch.
All meals are cooked by a friend of the family (who is an excellent chef!!), and served in the atmospheric converted hayloft above the studio, or in the courtyard over looking Rosie the Gypsy wagon and the woodland garden on sunny days. Back to the studio at 2 to 4, when tuition ends. Included in the price, Dave will fire and glaze three of your pots ready for collection. There is an extra charge for postage.
It's a mucky business so make sure you don't come in your best clothes!
Why not take the opportunity to make a weekend of it and stay in our fantastic Milford B&B Accommodation.
