If you can please bring a dish for bathing your feet and a large towel.

The benefits of having a bath – or even just a foot bath

If you say you simply have no time to take a bath this is exactly what you need, and deserve, so please make the time. You will be impressed with the lasting results. When you take time out, create space, bring yourself into the present and REALLY bathe with intent, the effects are profound… If you do not have a bath then use a foot bath instead.

With the overload of information and the speed at which we live our lives the forgotten practice of bathing is an excellent therapeutic tool that we can use to keep ourselves in balance. Bathing supports the processing of sensory input and can enable us to feel grounded, focused and calm.

Nowadays we have such a strong emphasis on cerebral activity. A foot bath is a simple and incredibly effective method that can ‘draw us’ out of the head and back into our body, thus promoting a feeling of security and support.

For better and for longer-lasting results, the foot baths should ideally be taken regularly, following a rhythm.

Date: Friday 10 November, 7-9pm

Cost: FREE with no obligation to buy. A welcoming glass of fizz is provided.
