    Salterns 24 hour Sail-a-thon raises almost £6,000 for Children in Need

    Another fabulous effort by Lymington's sailing club for children run by children in this 20th year of fundraising!

    Salterns 20th Sailathon finished at 4.30pm on Saturday 17 November 2018

    They've done it! This weekend the children of Salterns Sailing Club completed their Sail-a-thon, sailing non stop for 24 hours in aid of the BBC Children in Need appeal.

    Over £150,000 raised so far by children sailing non-stop for 24 hours in Lymington.

    The 20th annual fundraising 24 hour sailathon at Salterns Sailing Club in aid of Children in Need This week the children of Salterns Sailing Club are fundraising for the BBC Children in Need Appeal - for the 20th consecutive year!

    Salterns Sailing Club, based at Eight Acre Pond in Lymington, is a sailing club for children, run by children. Over the last 19 years, the children of Salterns have raised over £150,000 for Children in Need - not bad for a small children’s sailing club!
