A community event at Hythe Pier to celebrate and share the heritage and history of the pier, train and ferry. This year we are celebrating 140 years since the agreement was made to build the pier and begin the long history which we cherish today. In addition we will be naming one of the original tractor units that pull and push the pier train up and down the pier every day just as they have since 1922.Come down and join us and make your own contribution to help save Hythe Pier.
