About FlexiSail

FlexiSail is the Flexible, Affordable Sailing Membership on a new (or nearly new) Yacht or Catamaran that you can use and enjoy as your own.  It is the closest thing to owning your own boat without the costs or hassle, hence we describe it as ‘ownership without buying.’ No longer do you need to buy your own yacht to enjoy many of the benefits of owning.

We are a supportive family run business where the primary focus is on you as a member achieving your sailing goals and giving you the best sailing experience possible.

You get an 'ownership experience' through membership using a boat that very few other members have access to across the year; where you develop a pride of ownership; and where you can be  proud to sail.  You would be sailing in a supportive structured environment where you can build skills and experience in a confidence building way with support and assistance from us whenever you need it. 

Your membership commitment is just for 12 months.

FlexiSail Fleet

FlexiSail runs a fleet of stunning Yachts, ranging from 32 to 43 feet monohulls and two Mahe 36 Catamarans from their permanent bases in Lymington, Swanwick, Poole and Ipswich.

Your membership gives you use of brand new or nearly new boats, which are highly specced and beautifully maintained, and with safety standards that exceed Code of Practice.

Bookings are for your exclusive use of ‘your’ FlexiSail boat.  When you book the boat it’s exclusively for your own private use - you never have to share with other members.  When you’re on board it’s yours!

FlexiSail Training

RYA Training can be carried out on your own FlexiSail boat with FlexiSail Training and RYA Approved Sailing School. Train with your family or friends at the time you would like - Competent Crew, Day Skipper, Coastal Skipper And Yachtmaster Coastal or Offshore - you can choose!  Or join in with one of our regular member training events throughout the year - Sail Trim, Ladies Day, Man Overboard Recovery, Expert Boat Handling - to name a few.

Would you like to be out on the water, gain personal experience crewing on a variety of yachts and enjoy many of the benefits of FlexiSail boat share membership, but don’t have the time to commit to a full membership? FlexiCrew membership could be your ideal answer.

Many of our members are short of crew at different times and are often looking for someone to sail with, particularly at relatively short notice. You get to sail and socialise free, and our owners and full members get your talents, help, and company free too. A win win situation!
