Multisports Summer Camps for boys and girls 4-13 years old

These brand new multisports summer camps are for boys and girls between the ages 4 to 13 years old and are an affordable way to keep children active and outside in the holidays.

This is a new unique partnership between the LSA, its member clubs (providing the coaches - some who play at high level for south of England and county) and Priestlands School. It’s an affordable summer camp option aimed at promoting lots of different sports. It will give a taster of a range of sports so that the children can then opt to continue the sports they most enjoy with the relevant local club – this is sporting continuity!

The camps will run alongside the highly regarded New Forest Soccer camp.

Choice of up to 10 sports from tag rugby to netball, volleyball to athletics and more

For 2015, the camp will run from 27th July to 14th August 2015 and every session will be fun and rewarding: children will have the opportunity to choose from up to 10 sports varying from tag rugby to netball, and volleyball to athletics or even ultimate frisbee!

The cost of the sessions is £16.50 a day or £73 for a full week and timed to help working parents – from 8.30am to 3pm.

A typical day will include morning sessions of skills and sports, and afternoons of fun tournaments and challenges along the way overseen by the school’s head of PE, a first aider and a child support manager.

Free Sports Fun Taster Day Friday 24 July

There is also a ‘Free Taster Fun Day’ on Friday 24th July where donations will go to the local charity ‘Força 14’. Força will be using any donations they receive from the fun day to help local families
with a child with a life shortening illness have a special day out.

The LSA will use all surplus money from the camps towards achieving its objectives to help sporting development in the community, encouraging children and adults to maintain a sporting habit for life.

All proceeds will go into the LSA charity which will then be able to give back to its mission of developing a greater sporting community for all.

The camp is being run by Priestlands PE teachers with coaching by ex Priestlands pupils who continued with their sports and reached high levels in their respective sports.

Every member of the New Forest Multi Sports team is committed to inspiring children of all abilities to share their passion for sport and to create a sporting habit for life, as are the coaches from New Forest Soccer who are running a Soccer Camp alongside the Multi Sports Camp.
