24-Hour Live-In Care: full-time support, care and companionship in your own home

The Oakhaven Care live-in care service enables you to remain in the comfort of your own home with support. It can be a long-term solution to your care needs and a great alternative to having to go into a residential care home. It can be a good option for those who might need more assistance than is possible for visiting home care services. More flexible than other types of care arrangements, live-in care allows you to maintain your independence while still receiving the care you need.

Your Oakhaven Care Assistant will provide not only support with the activities of daily living but also companionship, which can help combat loneliness and isolation. Live-in care can provide peace of mind for family members who may worry about their loved ones living alone. Knowing that a trained caregiver is there to aid and support can be comforting and reassuring.

Your live-in carer can be there at all times to support your needs, enabling you to stay in the comfort and familiarity of your own home with a tailor-made and flexible care package.

  • Retain your independence and choose your daily routine: when to get up, when and what to eat.
  • Stay close to your friends and family
  • Stay in familiar surroundings you know and love
  • If you have pets, live-in care allows you to stay home with them
  • Have a companion living with you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week - helping you live the life you want to lead
  • Ensure you are still able to get out and about when you want to, staying part of your local community
  • Gain reassurance that you have a trained carer with you every day.
  • Receive help and support with a range of daily living activities, including personal care, medication management, meal preparation, fluid support, mobility assistance, light domestic duties, going shopping and attending medical appointments

Oakhaven Carers are carefully selected for each client to be sure that they meet your needs - and, importantly, to ensure that they will be a real companion whose company you will enjoy. All are fully trained, police-checked and verified. The compassionate service provided by our caregivers respects both your home and your privacy, providing a first-class personal service tailored to meet your individual needs.
