About Sway Place

Sway Place sits in the beautiful New Forest National Park, just a short drive from Brockenhurst and the coast. We have something for everybody and provide high-quality personalised residential and dementia care. Rated Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

At Sway Place, excellent customer service is of paramount importance. Beautiful surroundings and accommodation are accompanied with the recognition that residents deserve the greatest level of care, respect, dignity, choice, independence and happiness.

Excellent standard of accommodation

Accommodation is luxurious and purpose-built, set in 5 acres of beautiful, peaceful and leafy gardens. Single and double suites (suitable for couples) are available, with kitchenettes and en-suite shower rooms. In addition there are 14 independent cottages suitable for singles or couples. Recognising the importance of your own preferences and needs, you can personalise the interior design of your bedroom suite.

Stylish living areas

The bright and airy Tea Palace is a delightfully calm but vibrant area to meet and chat with family members and friends over a cup of tea or coffee. Sway Place has stylish lounges and a library, providing the perfect 'home-from-home' environment in which you can relax. Our bright, elegant dining rooms offer a varied, healthy menu every day and the private dining room enables residents to entertain their family in a private, homely environment.

A professional hair and beauty salon at Sway Place offers a selection of treatments for residents.

Varied activities programme

Sway Place has a dedicated activities and events coordinator and offers a full and varied activities programme every day, helping you to discover your personal interests and hobbies and stay as independent as possible. From activities in the Tea Palace to fitness, music, art classes and outings in the local community, there is always something exciting happening for those who would like to participate. Every resident is provided and cared for with his or her individual needs in mind.

Personalised Care

Our team of dedicated professionals at Sway Place create an individual care plan for each resident. The team recognise that everyone has their own preferences, their own way of doing things, as well as their own care needs. The team will help you to choose a lifestyle that’s right for you and will talk to you and your family, so that your individual care plan can change when your needs do. We'll also facilitate ways for friends and family to stay in touch.
