Learn to Sail
Learn to Sail courses at the Royal Lymington Yacht Club are open to non-members. RYA Youth Sailing Scheme Stage 1 is a 2 day beginner course which provides a basic understanding of how boats sail and some experience of launching and recovery, steering, parts of the boat and basic sailing techniques. Ages 8-18 - you don't have to start tiny! Dates 12- 13,

Egg Hunt by Canoe
Daily between 8 and 18 April, enjoy an egg-cellent guided paddle with New Forest Activities, along the Beaulieu River in stable ‘Canadian style’ canoes. Spend time taking in the stunning scenery of the river before disembarking for an egg hunt along the riverside, then you’ll have another beautiful scenic paddle back to base. So a kind of virtuous egg-cercise! Strongly recommended! Details here.
Recognise Your Spring Flowers
Ever enterprising Fairweather's Garden Centre has come up with another creative, fun and at the same time educational way for the children to spend some of the Easter Holidays, learning about spring flowers whilst chocolate hunting - with a little extra goodie thrown in for accompanying adults too! Run, Jump, Hop, Whatever Takes Your Fancy!
Following the success of this event in 2021, Oakhaven Hospice is bringing back its Bunny Run for 2022. Complete a 3km route of your choice any time between Sat 9 and Sun 23 April. Walking and hopping are alternatives to running and Oakhaven will provide you with special bunny ears to add a little extra spring to your steps! Take to the Stage - or Get Art and Crafty
Durlston Court School is hosting exciting Easter holiday camps including: a drama and playwriting day in which children will work towards creating their own short play, learning how to devise a script and create characters using lots of fun games and acting techniques; and a full day with Abi the artist, the whole day based an Easter theme with some wonderful decorations take home at the end.
