Gather for Festive Afternoon Tea
There’s much to be said for putting down the shopping bags and picking up a warm scone. Especially when there’s a pot of tea on its way and an afternoon’s worth of catching up to do.
Careys Manor’s festive afternoon tea brings Christmas flavours to the table, with cranberry and orange scones, chestnut and dark chocolate tart, gingerbread and a marshmallow choux bun snowman. Savouries include a turkey and cranberry slider and Welsh rarebit, alongside your choice of tea or coffee.
Served from 28th November to 2nd January, it’s a reason to gather friends, treat a parent or take a pause between festive errands. And if the occasion calls for a little sparkle, Champagne and bottomless Prosecco or Nozecco upgrades are available.

Make Something to Take Home
A handmade wreath brings a little of the outdoors into Christmas, along with the satisfaction of being able to say, “I made that.”
On Thursday 26th November, florist Laura Wagner of Blooming Marvellous Creations will lead two wreath-making experiences at Careys Manor. Seasonal foliage, ribbons, cinnamon and dried fruits provide the materials; Laura supplies the guidance.
Choose a morning creating a candle wreath centrepiece for your Christmas table, followed by a two-course seasonal lunch in Cambium. Or join the afternoon session to make a traditional door wreath, beginning with Prosecco and finishing with a cheese board, mince pie and mulled wine.
All wreath-making materials are included, with guests asked to bring an apron and secateurs if possible. Come with a friend and make a day of it.

Share a Festive Table at Cambium
For the friends you’ve been meaning to see, the colleagues who’ve shared a busy year, or the family gathering that deserves someone else doing the cooking, Cambium’s festive dining offers a welcome date in the diary.
The three-course menu includes roast turkey with chestnut and sage stuffing, grilled hake and spiced aubergine, followed by desserts such as Christmas pudding with brandy custard.
Available for groups of eight or more, the experience includes a glass of wine, beer or a soft drink, plus coffee and a mince pie. Settle around the table and let the conversation carry on.

Celebrate at the Careys Manor Christmas Ball
Some gatherings call for dancing shoes.
The Careys Manor Christmas Ball brings friends and colleagues together over sparkling wine, a three-course dinner and music from the after-dinner DJ. There’s wine with dinner, coffee and mince pies, and time on the dance floor before carriages at midnight.
With shared celebrations on selected dates throughout late November and December, smaller groups can join the party too. Agreeing on a date may take a few messages; the dinner and dancing are taken care of.
