Owned by Chris and Alison Wilson since 1997, Balmer Lawn Hotel & Spa is an independent country house hotel in Brockenhurst, in the heart of the New Forest. With woodland walks from our doorstep, we welcome guests for relaxing breaks, family stays, dining, spa experiences, weddings and business events.

Our two AA Rosette Beresfords restaurant serves seasonal dishes in a relaxed and welcoming setting. Join us for lunch, dinner or a special occasion, with menus shaped by the seasons.

Enjoy a relaxed meal or drink at The Lodge Terrace & Bar, with comfortable seating, outdoor heaters, blankets and views across the surrounding countryside. It’s a welcoming place to unwind after a walk in the New Forest or catch up with friends and family.
Afternoon tea
Join us for afternoon tea in Beresfords Restaurant or The Lodge. Served daily from 2.30pm to 4.30pm, it’s a lovely way to celebrate a special occasion or enjoy a leisurely afternoon. Please book at least 24 hours in advance.
