Pack a picnic, gather your friends, and join us for an unforgettable summer evening of Mozart in the beautiful gardens at Kingfishers!
We’re delighted to tell you about a very special collaboration between Amanda Mann, the owner of the beautiful Kingfishers gardens overlooking the Solent, and the acclaimed Scherzo Ensemble, who together are presenting Mozart’s Così fan tutte – The Essential Cut on Tuesday 18 August 2026.
Amanda has very generously chosen Hammersley Homes as the charity to benefit from the evening, with the profits from the event helping us continue our work supporting adults living with enduring mental ill-health. We are enormously grateful for her kindness and support.
Mozart’s much-loved comic masterpiece has been skilfully condensed into a lively, entertaining performance that captures all the wit, romance and glorious music of the original in a more accessible format.
Performed by the acclaimed Scherzo Ensemble, one of the UK’s most innovative touring opera companies, this production makes Mozart’s timeless comedy fresh, engaging and hugely enjoyable for everyone — whether you’re a lifelong opera enthusiast or discovering opera for the very first time.
Set against the backdrop of one of Hampshire’s most beautiful private gardens, this promises to be a truly memorable summer evening.

The profits from this special event will help Hammersley Homes continue providing long-term practical and compassionate support to adults living with enduring mental ill-health.
Through our Outreach Programme, we work alongside people who are often referred by local Community Mental Health Teams, helping with everyday challenges such as shopping, cooking, budgeting, dealing with correspondence, attending appointments — or simply providing companionship over a walk or a coffee.
These may seem like small acts, but they can make an extraordinary difference to someone living with severe mental illness and social isolation.
Our long-term vision is to establish supported homes where people can live with dignity, friendship and the reassurance that support is always available whenever it is needed.
By joining us for this wonderful evening, you’ll not only enjoy a fabulous performance — you’ll also be helping us reach more vulnerable people and reduce our growing waiting list.
Please help us spread the word!
If you know friends, family or fellow music lovers who would enjoy an evening of exceptional music in beautiful surroundings, we’d be hugely grateful if you would forward this email to them.
Every additional ticket sold helps make this generous fundraising event an even greater success.
Our sincere thanks to Amanda Mann for hosting this special evening and choosing Hammersley Homes as the beneficiary.
We hope to see you there!
