We are an all volunteer registered charity (no 1208709) based in Lymington determined to support people in need in Ukraine. Gathering aid from across the New Forest area and beyond, we collect and transport humanitarian aid to Ukraine via lorry to specially vetted Ukrainian NGOs and groups on the ground. Many of those most in need in Ukraine are the displaced who have lost their homes, sometimes repeatedly, children, families, the elderly and the many disabled or injured.
We have over 20 drop off and collection sites across and near the New Forest from Blandford Forum and Tisbury in the West to Andover in the North and all across the New Forest. These range from garden centres and shops to volunteers' houses. We then transport the donations to our Aid Hub at 310 Ampress Lane Lymington and pack and prepare them ready for transport by articulated lorry to Ukraine.
Sending regular and often weekly transports, we are committed to getting assurance of delivery and are in constant touch with the groups we support both to confirm receipt and to understand what they need. Long life and ambient food, baby items, first aid, hygiene and sanitary supplies, toiletries and batteries are regular priorities. We are efficient and low cost in how we operate with all our people are volunteers. Financial donations are always welcome and go toward paying fuel and ferry costs for transport and purchase of larger priority items such as generators.
