A little bit of history
The New Forest Show has a rich history, having been established in 1920 by the New Forest Agricultural Show Society. What started out as a one-day event has become a three-day celebration held at the end of July in New Park, near Brockenhurst. The New Forest Show now attracts over 100,000 visitors annually, making it one of the largest and most prestigious agricultural shows in the UK.
Showcasing rural excellence
We are honoured to support an event that highlights the importance of agriculture and rural traditions. The New Forest Show features a wide range of attractions, including:
Equestrian events: The show will host 56 prestigious Horse of the Year Qualifiers, alongside showjumping, heavy horse musical drives, and more. Make sure to pay particular attention to the “Scott Bailey North Ring” events!
Livestock competitions: Visitors can explore the cattle, pig, and sheep rings to see the finest breeds and learn about various livestock.
Countryside area: Experience traditional country demonstrations like fly fishing and gun dog displays, offering a glimpse into rural skills and crafts.
Family Fun Area: Activities such as circus workshops, face painting, and the Fun Canine Show promise entertainment for all ages.
Festival of Food: There will be over 40 stands offering a global array of cuisines and local produce, with live masterclasses from top chefs.
