Wreath making: a fun evening learning something new, in support of Oakhaven Hospice
On Wednesday 3 December, Scott Bailey hosted a luxury wreath-making masterclass in support of Oakhaven Hospice, a charity that remains close to the heart of many in the local community.
Guests were welcomed with a glass of bubbles before the masterclass began, complete with Christmas carols, mince pies and plenty of chocolate biscuits to keep everyone going.
The event, organised by Caroline and Emily at Scott Bailey, was led by Lesley, a local florist and Caroline’s mum.
We were warmly welcomed by Natalie Hutchins, Corporate Fundraiser for Oakhaven, at the Coates Centre, Oakhaven’s dedicated wellbeing centre. We’d like to extend our thanks to both Lesley and Natalie for making the event so special.
One of the participants, Gill, brought along delicious home made Christmas cookies to add to the finger feast on the table!
The wreath-making masterclass is just one of several December festivities that Scott Bailey is proud to support in aid of Oakhaven. This Sunday, the annual Oakhaven Santa Dash takes place in Lymington, where Scott Bailey is sponsoring the Santa suits and entering a team of runners. Next week, the Light Up a Life initiative continues at St Thomas Church in Lymington, bringing the community together to reflect, remember and celebrate.
